We design, make and fit all kinds of unique furniture items, including dining tables, coffee tables, desks and office furniture, media walls, libraries, wardrobes, dressers, cupboards and much more. We really can create anything. The sky is the limit!

The magic happens at our workshop, based at The Moor in Melbourn, Royston, close to Cambridge. The Millside Kitchens and Furniture family team, which comprises three generations of furniture makers, have a passion for using sustainable materials such as solid oak, cherry, maple, walnut and ash to produce beautiful handmade wooden furniture that is built for life.

All our furniture is made to order. This means you can get as creative as you like with ideas and personalise your product to no end. The process starts with a free initial consultation with a member of the Millside team. We will discuss your requirements and design vision, creating free-hand furniture sketches before going on to produce full-scale designs.

Once you are happy with the design specifications, we will skilfully handcraft your new bespoke furniture with meticulous attention to detail. You are invited to visit the workshop to chat with our furniture makers and check on the progress of your piece. We are on hand to support you from start to finish and will personally deliver and fit your furniture when it is complete.
